Tour Overview

Day 1


Arrival assistance. Transfer to Hotel. Later visit Pashupati Nath Temple, the holiest Hindu Temple that draws devotees from all over Nepal and India. This temple is situated on the bank of Bagmati River, which is considered as holy as Ganges. Cremation goes throughout the days and nights on the bank of Bagmati River. Then, you will drive to Boudha Nath Stupa, the biggest stupa in the world. This is one of the World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Valley. From here, you will drive to Bhaktapur, one of the three principalities of medieval Kathmandu. Bhaktapur, the youngest city in the valley has preserved its ancient look and originality. You would love to see the "Golden Gate" of the "Palace of 55 Windows". There are temples with intricate woodcarving, houses with different kinds of windows and balconies, stone sculptured water tanks, monastic complexes etc. Evening enjoy 1 hour Mountain Flight to view the Himalayas (Optional). Overnight stay at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2


Morning after breakfast at the hotel visit the city, call "City of the Gloria" to know historical and cultural the attractions. The visit includes the seat Durbar, Kasthamandap (of which it is said that it is constructed of a single wood piece), etc. Brief shutdown in Kal Bhairab, dwelled of the God of the Destruction and the temple of Taleju, constructed in 1.549 D.C. Next, it visits of the Stupa de Swoyambhunath, one of stupas Buddhist older worldwide, skillfully established in a hill with a wonderful Vista of the Valley of Kathmandu. In the evening, visit of Patan, located on a plateau that extends on the Bagmati River, to the south of Kathmandu. Famous like center of beautiful arts and by the magnificent work of its craftsmen. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03


Fly to Pokhara .You will be transferred by car to Nayapul which takes about 2 hrs.then you start trek via Birethanti. You will follow the bank of Bhurungdi Khola until Tikhedhunga (1575 m).Then you will have a bit steep up of an hour walk till Ulleri (2073 m). Overnight in the lodge in Ulleri.
Day 04


You will gain gradually more altitudes on this day. You will walk about 4-5hrs.Overnight in Lodge in Ghorepani (2800m).
Day 05


Early in the morning you walk up to Poonhill (3400 m) to have sunrise view to the Annapurna massif and Dhawalagiri (8167m) and other ranges. You will be lost at this moment into the Shangri-La. After coming back from Poonhil, you will have breakfast then start to walk down to Deorali on the way to Tadapani. All the way, you will walk through the forest in peaceful and calm atmosphere. Its rhododendron forest. In March all the forest blooms. It looks more than beautiful in spring. Overnight at lodge in Tadapani (2650 m).
Day 06


You will walk down to Ghandruk in 2/3 hours. You take lunch in Ghandruk. Then you will walk around 4 hours to Birethanti. You descend down to Ghandruk. Its very easy walk. You will see all the Annapurna and Machhapuchre snow capped peaks right in front of you all the way down from Ghorepani.Ghandruk is a beautiful Gurung Village. Most of them have been in British Gurkha military. You will see the Gurung Culture. They are smiling every time and hospitable. There are nice lodges in this village. Overnight in the lodge.
Day 07


1 Hour walk to Nayapul of Kaski, then drive 1 hour to Nayapul of Baglung, the raft put in point. Upon arrival, we unload all the equipment and you will receive a full safety briefing. Have lunch and then the guide will take you to the river starting point ready to begin your exciting 3 days rafting trip. First day we begin with plenty of class III rapids this is a warm up for the team, after couple of hours you will be encountering 2 big class 4 rapids i.e. Small Brother and Big Brother. Your guide will be making you work hard at doing exercises to work as a team maneuvering the raft efficiently. After scouting the rapid, the safety kayaks will go first then the raft. Soon after encountering these two big rapids we will reach the Modi Khola confluence where we will choose the beach for the evening campsite. We unload the rafts and one raft team prepares dinner whilst the others play volleyball or relax and take in the scenery.
Day 08


Once the rafts are packed we start down the river for a day mixed with adrenaline, calm and spectacular scenery including views of Annapurna I and Himchuli. We will tackle many class III sections and the challenging class IV named REFUND. This section of river is abundant with vines and lush vegetation hanging from the cliff faces. Our campsite is below the village of Purti Ghat.
Day 09


Almost immediately after being back on the water we reach the holy village of Seti Beni. The river has deposited a house size boulder in the confluence with a smaller tributary. Since confluences are considered holy places in the Hindu religion, this boulder has become an important shrine to the local river people. There is usually a great audience to watch and listen to the spectacle as each team negotiates the rapid that has formed around this holy place. After the shirt-rafting trip it is time for the journey to end. You arrive in the Mirme where your bus will be waiting for you. We load up the gear and prepare for the bus journey back to Pokhara 105 km. for 4 hours driving. Drive to Pokhara. Fly to Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel.
Day 10


End of our services with departure transfer to the airport to board flight for your onward destination.
